Kahli Cohran
President
Born in Los Angeles and raised in New Orleans, Kahli Cohran founded Civil Solutions in 2013 after successfully completing a Mentor-Protégé program in Baton Rouge, La. And since then, he has gained valuable experience in assisting private and public clients with the timely delivery of quality civil design plans, permits, and construction bid documents. His diverse experience as an engineer has allowed him to play an integral role in all phases of a project: from schematic design to project closeout.
Consistent with the commitment to community development, Kahli and Civil Solutions are increasing the opportunities for professional development for young engineers. He has made a continued commitment to the engineering profession and the community, volunteering his time and sponsoring community activities to promote the profession and enrich the development of its young professionals.
Kahli is a proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He also completed his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition, Kahli serves on the board of the Capital Area Transit System (CATS), is a Capital Region Planning Commission commissioner, and is a past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Baton Rouge Chapter.
Eric Dexter
Vice President
Eric Dexter is passionate about collaborating with clients and partners to create lasting relationships, while facilitating an unparalleled, client-focused experience. The Alexandria, Louisiana native joined the Civil Solutions Consulting Group team in 2015, and has been instrumental in driving the Baton Rouge-based civil engineering firm’s growth and culture through his business development and marketing expertise.
In the day-to-day, Eric leads the organization’s marketing and business development initiatives while managing new and existing client accounts. A strong community advocate, Eric is a leading figure in the development of a number of local nonprofits and associations, ranging from business, education, economic development, the arts, and social good. His activism has been noted by the Baton Rouge Business Report as a Forty Under 40 honoree in 2015; as LABI’s 2016 Young Businessperson-Free Enterprise Champion; and as a 2017 Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge Great Futures Gala Honoree. He received his undergraduate degree at Northwestern State University, where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Marketing.
