Our leadership was established as a brain trust of field-experienced professionals to optimize outcomes through a fusion of engineering and business solutions. We approach each project as an opportunity to design creative experiences and inspiring project results.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in New Orleans, Kahli Cohran founded Civil Solutions in 2013 after successfully completing a Mentor-Protégé program in Baton Rouge, La. And since then, he has gained valuable experience in assisting private and public clients with the timely delivery of quality civil design plans, permits, and construction bid documents. His diverse experience as an engineer has allowed him to play an integral role in all phases of a project: from schematic design to project closeout.
Consistent with the commitment to community development, Kahli and Civil Solutions are increasing the opportunities for professional development for young engineers. He has made a continued commitment to the engineering profession and the community, volunteering his time and sponsoring community activities to promote the profession and enrich the development of its young professionals.
Kahli is a proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He also completed his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition, Kahli serves on the board of the Capital Area Transit System (CATS), is a Capital Region Planning Commission commissioner, and is a past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Baton Rouge Chapter.
